2026 Trans Visibility Awards Nominations Now Open

Nominations for the 2026 Trans Visibility Awards are officially open, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate the transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people making an impact in communities right across Victoria.

Now in their third year, the Trans Visibility Awards are our chance to shine a light on the achievements and leadership of trans people across Victoria. With more than 120 people nominated last, we're expecting an even bigger response in 2026 as we introduce a brand new category that means a great deal to us: the Sporting Icon Award.

The Sporting Icon Award celebrates a standout trans sportsperson who is a role model both on and off the field.

With trans inclusion in sport is under attack, we believe it's the perfect time to spotlight, celebrate and cheer on our trans sporting champions. Transgender Victoria supports every trans person's right to participate, and to thrive, in sport at any level.

If you know a trans sportsperson kicking goals, on the field or off it, we'd love to hear about them.
